An audio-visual presentation of "Cathedral Oceans" will be staged as part of the Leeds Film Festival on Friday the 3rd of November at the Holy Trinity Church in Leeds (Boar Lane, Leeds, Yorkshire LS1 6HW.) The performance will involve projections and a new surround sound mix of "Cathedral Oceans III" which in turn will be augmented by John improvising and adding live vocals. Signed, special edition prints of images from "Cathedral Oceans" will also be on sale at the event. The premier of "Tiny Colour Movies" is set to take place at the Brighton Film Festival on Saturday the 18th of November, 2006. John will be performing in an old cinema (The Duke of York Picturehouse, Preston Circus, Brighton BN1 4NA) where the fragments of film that he referred to in the albums sleeve notes will be projected. I understand from John that he's also hoping to perform a couple of new pieces that weren't originally included on "Tiny Colour Movies". Tickets are priced at £10.00, £8.00 members and concessions. Please note that the show in Wolverhampton (see Metamatic Update 24.09.2006) has now been replaced with a show in Coventry, the show in Rome (originally to be held on the 30th of November) has been postponed until next year, and the show in Verona (scheduled for the 2nd of December) will now take place in Scandiano. I understand that tickets purchased for the Paradiso 65 show, that was unfortunately postponed earlier in the year (19th of July), will still be valid for this rescheduled show (28th of November). AjantaMusic will be playing live in London on Friday the 10th of November 2006 at EstEstEst, 29 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2ND between 20:00pm and 01.00am. Admission is free. The show features AjantaMusic DJs, Montana Verde VJ Visuals, Dancer Minnie Russnak, plus a very special guest DJ set by The Glimmer Room. This will be their last appearance in the UK this year. The AjantaMusic live session and interview was recently re-broadcast on John Diliberto's Echoes radio show in the USA. The band were placed at number six on the Echoes chart for September. AjantaMusic will be contributing a live recording of the track "And Now We Dream" to the next Echoes "Living Room Concert Series" CD, due for release in the USA later this year. The band recently played in Ibiza, headlining the weekly Namaste multi-media party at Las Dalias, and have been asked to appear again next season. Recording continues on the largely-completed second AjantaMusic album. This will contain three of Robin's compositions, and for the first time will feature vocal as well as instrumental tracks. *****

ドイツですか。いいなぁ・・・。 いっぱいビール飲まれましたか？ 私は日本で開催されている横浜オクトーバーフェストで ドイツビールを飲みました。(^^; Breatheは運ちゃんには不評でしたか・・・。 でも、ドイツでのMidge人気が証明された瞬間ですね！(^^)
初めてドイツに行ってきました。 (ケルンで仕事、デュッセルドルフで聖地巡礼、ベルリンで観光) 何度かタクシーに乗りましたが、ドイツのタクシードライバーは、 客が乗っていても普通にラジオをかけてるんですね。 で、たいていはダサダサなドイツ国内向けポップスやロックがかかっていたわけ ですが、その中に混じってなんとミッジ・ユーロのブリーズが流れてきました! 「おお、ヨーロッパでヒットしたというのは本当だったんだな」とひとり感慨に ふけっていたら・・・タクシーの運転手は少しイラついたように選局ボタンを ボチッと押して、ニュース番組に変えたのでした。ちゃんちゃん。
